Day 1 : Early departure to Safranbolu, about 5 hours drive. (1 Day) Lunch on the way after Mt. Bolu in a traditional grill restaurant. Check in to the special licensed hotel, walking on the streets of Safranbolu through the beatiful wooden houses. Visiting the governors house and the old bazaar. Stay overnight. Climbing the castle and a short drive for to view the neighborhood. Drive back to Istanbul, transfer to the hotels. Day 2 : Museum Houses Many of the oldest houses have been made into museums by cultural departments, and most have attractive tea gardens. Kileciler Evi is one of the best, and has been restored and organised by the Ministry of Culture as a good example of an old Safranbolu house and its lifestyle. Other well known ones are Mumtazlar Konagi (Mansion with pool) and Karauzumler Evi
