Tour Overview
You will be picked up from the hotel by 13:00-13:30 and transferred to the harbor for embarkation on the cruise.
We will start our cruise from the Golden Horn, a natural harbor that has historically sheltered Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and other ships for thousands of years. You’ll have the chance to see notable landmarks such as the Galata Tower, the historic districts of Fener and Balat, and the Eyüp Sultan Mosque from the sea.
After exploring the Golden Horn, we will navigate the Bosphorus Strait on one of the iconic ferries of Istanbul. The Bosphorus is a narrow, natural strait that separates Europe and Asia, connecting the Black Sea to the Marmara Sea. It is one of the world’s busiest waterways and has been an important trade route for centuries. As we cruise along the Bosphorus, you will see a blend of the ancient and the modern, with stunning views of:
Dolmabahçe Palace: An opulent palace that served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire.
Çırağan Palace: A former Ottoman palace, now a luxury hotel.
Ortaköy Mosque: A picturesque mosque located right on the waterfront.
Bosphorus Bridge (15 July Martyrs Bridge): One of the three suspension bridges spanning the Bosphorus, linking Europe and Asia.
Rumeli Fortress: A medieval fortress built by the Ottomans before the conquest of Constantinople.
Anadolu Fortress: Located on the Asian side, this fortress complements the Rumeli Fortress in guarding the Bosphorus.
Küçüksu Pavilion and Beylerbeyi Palace: Summer residences of Ottoman sultans.
After a light lunch on the boat, we will sail through the Asian side of Istanbul, allowing you to see both sides on the same day. The Asian side is known for its lush greenery and quieter ambiance compared to the bustling European side.
End of the tour by late afternoon, disembarking the ferry, and returning to the hotel.
This itinerary provides a comprehensive and detailed exploration of both the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus, enriching the tour with historical and cultural insights.

- Includes free pick-up service from hotels in Sultanahmet or Taksim areas. There will be an extra charge for other locations.
- Children aged 0-2 are free of charge, 30% discount is applied for children aged under 6 years old.

- In the event of any museum closures, an alternative similar museum will be visited.

Cancelation Policy
- You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
