Detailed Itinerary

After check out, early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and you will be transferred to Istanbul Airport for a 07:20 Cappadocia flight arriving at 08:45 to Kayseri Airport.

Upon arrival transfer (1hr) to Ürgüp to start our day with a gentle hike through orchards, unusual volcanic rock formations, and rock-cut houses at Red Valley & (Pasabagi) where you will find the world-known fairy chimneys. Visit the old Christian Village of Cavusin, followed by a lunch break & then an excursion to Pigeon Valley. Then continue on to Goreme Open-Air Museum where you will visit the numerous rock-carved churches, and monasteries decorated with striking frescoes from early Christianity. Our last stop for the day will be the panoramic viewpoint offering spectacular views of the landscape from the natural rock castle at Uchisar.

End of the tour. Transfer to the cave hotel which was carved in the landscape centuries or possibly 3000 years ago by its inhabitants for overnight in Ürgüp. (Meals: Lunch).

Early in the morning pick up from the hotel for 1 hour long balloon tour during the sunrise. At the end of the tour, you will return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and we will start the second-day tour with Rose Valley, which is named after the pink tints visible in some of the weathered rocky sides. Along the route see the first currently inhabited rock-cut houses. Then proceed to the Church of St. John the Baptist offers a panoramic view of the village.

After lunch, we will drive to the south of Cappadocia to visit Kaymakli Underground City. This widest underground city of the Cappadocia region was carved out underneath a rock hill (Kaymakli Castle). The day tour will finish with Ortahisar. Its most pronounced structure is the Castle of Ortahisar situated at 86 m height cave in the period of Eti.  On the outskirts of the castle, there are available samples of the civil architecture characteristic of Cappadocia. End of the tour, Return to Urgup for some free time at leisure for sightseeing till you will be transferred to Kayseri Airport (1hr) for a 20:15 flight to Istanbul.

Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport at 21:35. You will be transferred to the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch).
