Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Istanbul, the Imperial City, and settle into your hotel. Prepare yourself for a journey through the ages in a city where the past and the present coexist.
Today we explore the historic Sultanahmet district. Marvel at the Blue Mosque’s stunning tiles, the ancient Hippodrome, and the world-renowned Hagia Sophia. We’ll dine at a local Turkish restaurant before heading to Camlica Hill for panoramic city views. We end the day at the majestic Dolmabache Palace and return to our hotel for a good night’s rest.
Our day begins at the Egyptian Market (Spice Bazaar), a shopping mega center that’s a feast for the senses. We’ll then embark on a private ferry tour of the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe from Asia. After lunch, we’ll visit the expansive Topkapi Palace, a witness to Ottoman splendor, and wrap up our day with a visit to Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, the world’s oldest and largest covered market.
Today we set sail to Yalova, then head to ‘Green Bursa’, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. We’ll explore the city’s stunning architecture at the Green Mosque and the Green Mausoleum, and later visit the Great Mosque and the Koza Han. A cable car ride up Mount Olympus and a visit to the historic village of Cumalikizik add to the day’s excitement.
Enjoy a day of leisure in Bursa. Opt for a traditional Turkish Bath or relax in one of the famous thermal spas. After soaking in Bursa’s healing waters, we head back to Istanbul for the night.
We conclude our journey with a transfer to Istanbul’s airport for your outbound flight.
